A bit of funny

A man boarded an airplane and took his seat. As he settled in, he glanced up and saw the most beautiful woman boarding the plane, and soon realized she was heading straight towards his seat. As fate would have it, she took the seat right beside his. Eager to strike up a conversation he blurted out, “Business trip or pleasure?” She turned, smiled and said “Business. I’m going to the Annual Nymphom aniacs of America Convention in Boston” He swallowed hard. Here was the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen sitting next to him, and she was going to a meeting of nymphomaniacs. Struggling to maintain his composure, he calmly asked “What’s your business role at this convention?” “Lecturer,” she responded, “I use information that I have learned from my personal experiences to debunk some of the popular myths about sexuality.” “Really?” he said “And what kind of myths are there?” “Well…” she explained “One popular myth is that African-American men are the most well-endowe...

On Playing World of Warcraft

I started playing world of warcraft a little over a year ago. I have found it gives me a voice that is different from my own "IRL" voice. (IRL = in real life) I have also seen people complain, rant or rave, love, hate, join, or leave the game. Sometimes I have wanted to do all this, but still i pay my monthly fee. Why you may ask? Because it is an ever changing world and I am whom ever I want to be that day or that moment. I can be a dragon slayer or a poor lost girl.

My friend Joe got a Harley (Funny)

Joe wanted to buy a motorcycle. He didn't have much luck until one day, he came across a Harley with a 'for sale' sign on it. The bike seemed even better than a new one, although it was 10 years old. It is shiny and in absolute mint condition. He immediately bought it, and asked the seller how he kept it in such great condition for 10 years. 'Well, it's quite simple, really,' says the seller, 'whenever the bike is outside and it's gonna rain, rub Vaseline on the chrome. It protects it from the rain.' And he hands Joe a jar of Vaseline. That night, his girlfriend, Sandra, invites him over to meet her parents. Naturally, they take the bike there. But just before they enter the house, Sandra stops him and says, 'I have to tell you something about my family before we go in.' 'When we eat dinner, we don't talk. In fact, the first person who says anything during dinner has to do the dishes.' 'No problem,' he says. And in they ...

The Smell of Rain

The Smell of Rain A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the Doctor walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. Still groggy from surgery, her husband David held her hand as they braced themselves for the latest news. That afternoon of March 10,1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24 weeks pregnant, to Danae Lu Blessing. At 12 inches long and weighing only one pound and nine ounces, they already knew she was perilously premature. Still, the doctor's soft words dropped like bombs. I don't think she's going to make it, he said, as kindly as he could. "There's only a 10 percent chance she will live through the night, and even then, if by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one." Numb with disbelief, David and Diana listened as the doctor described the devastating problems Danae would likely face if she survived. She would never walk, she would never talk, she would probab...

Tomorrow

Tomorrow If I knew this would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord your soul to keep. If I knew this would be the last time I'd see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and a kiss and call you back for one more. If I knew this would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would videotape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day. If I knew this would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say I love you instead of assuming you would know I do. If I knew this was to be the last day I would be there to share with you, well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away. For surely there is always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything right. There will always be another day to say our I love you's. And certainly there's to be another c...
